chinese cultrue

It is well known that china is a very big country with a long history and a unique culture, which strongly attracts lots of foreign people from all over the world .with the increase of international exchange between countries, different cultures will mix together and influence each other. More and more eastern cultures are assimilated by western ones, so maintaining and developing Chinese culture will play a very important role in keeping the oriental culture in today‘s society .
A good example of Chinese culture is Peking opera, when the actors come on the stage; they usually wear a special kind of theatrical make up on their faces. People can judge the roles of the actors by their types of facial make up. The Peking opera is a special opera which had its birth in the capital of China –Beijing, and it has been developed in China for thousands of years .up to now ,Chinese people have still cherish this opera as their historical heritage .recently , more and more foreign people have become interested in learning it .Therefore, Peking opera helps people from different countries to aware of Chinese culture , consequently, this has improved cultural exchange and cooperation between China and the rest of the world.
Speaking of Chinese culture, we can’t help thinking about tea  culture. As you know, in ancient times, China was one of the most important teas –producing countries in the world .in most of the southern provinces of China, different kind of tea is grown and exported to many other countries. For example , black tea , green tea, “Lon Jing”, “Tie GuanYin “are all top quality teas that are grown in the  south of China., Some tea has medical function as well. Drinking this kind of tea can help people get rid of illness and make their body strong. With a long history of cultivating and exporting tea, China has developed its tea culture. For example, there is a special etiquette for drinking tea. It is very interesting that different ways and procedures of making tea result in different tastes of tea. So the way of making and drinking tea is not only a simple pattern, but it also involves a kind of entertainment and protocol.
The Chinese liquor culture has been developing for a long time too. In early ancient time –Tang Dynasty, some famous poets wrote wonderful poems which described the liquor culture. Libai- one of the most remarkable poets in ancient China stated “no liquor, no poem”. Also, DuFu and BaiJuYi, whose work strongly influenced the Chinese liquor culture, played a very important role in this ancient culture. In fact, the Chinese liquor industry has developed very rapidly and some famous brands came up with the time going. For example, According to Chinese liquor history “Mao-Tai” and “WuLiang-Ye are very good liquor both at home and aboard.
last but not least, painting and calligraphy are two of the most representational aspects of culture in China .as you know, Chinese painting is very different from west oil painting .because artists paint very carfully and attentively,these art works deeply and vividly display the meaning that the artists want to show .Chinese painting is divided into several branches .for instant , figure painting mainly displays the main ideas through the person’s expression and appearance . Landscape painting which portrays hills , lakes,  rivers and so on .On the other hand , Chinese calligraphy is well known and has a long history .Wang XiZHI and Liu GongQuan were two of the most successful calligraphers in ancient China , their works are still precious Chinese legacies, and well known all over the world .
Generally speaking, Chinese culture is very board and profound.  
It represents China‘s long history and splendid creation as well. As a Chinese person, I’m really proud of my motherland and my culture.
